4. 1) Tourism: The attractions in MBS attracts tourists to visit
which boost the economic of tourism due to consumerism,
where tourists came to Singapore to spend money in
Casinos and also through shopping.

5. 2) Economic Growth: With more attractions such as
shops, Casinos and others, this increase the
economic in Singapore as more people came to
Singapore to spend their money which on the other
hand help Singapore boost its economy through
consumerism.

6. 3) Foreign Investments: There are a lot of international brands found in the
shopping mall in MBS such as Chanel, Gucci, LV, Prada, Dior, Adidas, Armani
and Swatch. These shows that there are many countries that are willing to invest
into our economy. They believe that they will make money through the Singapore
economy. This makes us go through industrialisation and globalisation with is
essential in our country.

7. 4) Raise image of Singapore: This let the other tourists, as well as, the
foreign investors have good impressions on Singapore as a First World
Country.
Also, with all these attractions and luxury, there is service and retail in
Singapore. However; on the other hand, the social costs, similarly, the
consequences are unbearable. For example, this increase the number of
gamblers in Singapore which is also a disadvantage and a lost to the
society.

9. 1) Government: Government is the most important party in the
construction of building or construction of MBS as they are the
ones who are helping in this financially, also, it is them who is
giving the permission for building the MBS.

10. 2) Architects and Designers: They play a big part in the
construction too as they are the ones that planned and design
the resort which is a very difficult work. It is with their help that
we can have such a beautiful MBS.

12. There is not just business in the MBS…
In fact, there are hotels, and shopping for retail and museum,
as well as, the Esplanade for Arts and Culture. There is
leisure when one is spending spend in the MBS, it is not only
for business.

14. Breeze Shelter: These are fans that work with a motion
detector and a solar panel with help save a lot of
electricity, indirectly, help save much fuels which is
supposed to be burned. This is one way of MBS being
eco- friendly.
