Lotnictwo w walce o obniżenie emisji CO2
Agenda
1. Determinanty wykorzystania OZE w lotnictwie
2. Biopaliwa
3. Słońce
4. Wiatr
5. Loty na innych planetach
6. Podsumowanie
Lot jednej osoby z Londynu do Nowego Jorku powoduje tyle emisji CO2,
ile roczne ogrzewanie domu przez przeciętnego mieszkańca UE

                                              Fiumicino Airport, Rome, Italy
Transport odpowiada za 1/3 całkowitego zużycia energii
oraz 1/5 emisji gazów cieplarnianych*

Transport lotniczy: wzrost emisji z lotnictwa międzynarodowego o 86%
- najszybszy wzrost w latach 1990–2004

Większa szkodliwość emisji pochodzących z transportu lotniczego
w porównaniu z emisjami z innych źródeł: CO2, NOx, cząsteczki siarki
i sadzy oraz pary wodnej i hałasu

*w krajach członkowskich Europejskiej Agencji Środowiska
(wyłączając lotnictwo międzynarodowe i transport morski)
Źródło: Dyrektywa Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady 2008/101/WE z dnia 19 listopada 2008 r. zmieniającą
dyrektywę 2003/87/WE w celu uwzględnienia działalności lotniczej w systemie handlu przydziałami
emisji gazów cieplarnianych we Wspólnocie
Skutki polityki klimatycznej dla lotnictwa:

• przydzielenie limitów emisji wszystkim liniom lotniczym,
    korzystającym z lotnisk w UE

• przekroczenie limitu = konieczność dokupienia dodatkowych praw do
emisji na rynku, co zachęca do inwestowania
    pro-środowiskowe technologie
• szansa na dodatkowe przychody poprzez handel prawami do emisji

Uwaga:
Linie lotnicze będą przenosić części kosztów
lub całego kosztu polityki klimatycznej na klientów!

Przewidywany jest wzrost ceny typowego biletu
         powrotnego w granicach UE do 2020 r.

   paliwa konwencjonalnego
         przed startem

         i po lądowaniu
Biopaliwa w lotnictwie

                          Boeing 747 Freighter Airbus A320

Amerykaoski nadzór bezpieczeostwa lotniczego zaakceptował wstępnie biopaliwa z materiałów nie
będących żywnością jako domieszkę do tradycyjnego paliwa lotniczego stosowanego w lotnictwie
komercyjnym.

Sumaryczny zasięg, z wykorzystaniem akumulatorów i późniejszym uruchomieniem silnika
