Mission
The mission of the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library is to
provide quality materials and services in a comfortable, open environment.
We strive to enhance lifelong learning and personal growth while fostering
a community connection.
2. Highlights for the Year
• New interactive website
• Promotional booklet
• Resumed cultural and literary
programs
• Improved maintenance and custodial
efforts
• Refined space post construction
• Added four art gallery spaces
4. Looking Ahead to 2016
• Further advance conference and
meeting room spaces
• Expand computer services (more
workstations, classes, and individual
help)
• Evaluate security needs
• Enhance volunteer training and
refine application process
5. 2015 Budget Snapshot
• 2015 request represents a 6.7% increase
Salaries increased in July
46% increase in square footage
means more operation costs
• Library Board of Trustees paid over
$11,000 for programs and maintenance
costs. This is in addition to Enhancement
Project costs.
