WAVES She has received her Diploma in Sitar, Diploma in Photography & Prabhakar in 36 x 30 inches Kathak before completing her BFA - Applied Oil on canvas Arts in 1980. Her MFA was completed from NEAR TO MY HEART NEAR TO RIVER B.H.U, Varanasi in 1982. Dr. Singh started her career with a publication UNTITLED VIRAH VEDNA house, Allahabad while enrolling herself in doctorate degree (PHD). She was also a recipient of the Folk & Contemporary Art Exhibition Award. She is now a founding member and the Director of Elegance Art Gallery, Agra. Her work is represented in form of Mural, Sculptures, Portraits, and wall paintings by Lalit Kala Academy, Allahabad, Gandhigram, TamilNadu, M.G.C.G.V. Chitrakoot, B.H.U Varanasi and many more. She is currently on the faculty of the Mahatma REMINISCENCE Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya My recent focus is on oil and ink Vishwavidhyalaya, Chitrakoot where she has 36 x 30 inches paintings of Chitrakute, a small village successfully accomplished more than 15 Oil on canvas in Madhya Pradesh, India. years tenure as “Head of Department”. My painting depict unique and open Her recent group painting exhibitions include landscape, I captivate in capturing the B.H.U., Varanasi, Nandan Gallery, Shanti basic elements of natural settings and Niketan, West Bengal, Gandhigram, intersections of nature and TamilNadu, Amrita Kala Vithika, Deendayal urbanization. Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur & M.G.C.G, Chitrakoot. Recent solo exhibitions were held at Jaipur, Bikaner, Tamil Nadu. Her book on Art of Shalaendra Nath De was recently published.
