4. What is GIP (Global Investor program)?
GIP (Global Investor Program) provides avenue for overseas
investor to apply for Singapore Permanent Residency status
Investment Options:
Option A
Invest $2.5 M SGD in a new business entity or to expand an
existing business
operation
Option B
Invest at least $2.5 M SGD in a GIP fund that
invests in Singapore based companies

7. Eligibility for GIP Application
You are eligible to apply for PR application under GIP if you
have:
a)Substantial business track record
b)Successful entrepreneurial background
Track Record
You must possess at least 3 years of entrepreneurial and
business track record and must produce audited financial
statements for your company for the last 3 years
Shareholding
If your company is privately-owned, you should at least 30%
shareholding in the company. Your role in the company, as
well as growth and profitability of your company would be
taken into consideration

8. Eligibility for GIP Application
Turnover
•Real Estate or Construction related Industry
•Must be at least $200 M SGD in the most recent year.
•At least $200M SGD Per annum on average for the last 3
years
Other Sectors
•Must be at least $50M SGD in the most recent year
•At least $50M SGD Per annum on average for the last 3
years
•You should submit the financial statements of your company
with the highest
turnover. You may also consolidate your business to meet the
minimum turnover criteria

9. Provision for family
•Your spouse and children (below 21 years old) are
eligible to apply for PR under your GIP application.
Male dependents will be liable for National Service.
•Parents and unmarried children who are 21 years old
and above are not eligible to be included in your GIP
application for PR status. Instead, they can apply for a
5-year Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP), which is tied to
the validity of your Re-Entry Permit (REP).

10. Fees and charges for investor
•One flat fee $25,000 SGD for GIP Application
(Including legal consultation fee)
•Above fee is applicable for standard case and
excluding disbursement eg. Application fee to
EDB of $5,650 SGD, translation fee, compilation
of
financial
statement,
flights
to
and
accommodation in Singapore
