10. A day in the life of a Groove road warrior 8:00am – On the train to the city finishing off a proposal 8:30am – Arrive at Grand Central Station and send an IM to manager to review document. Put the laptop in hibernate mode 9:00am – Pop into Starbucks and open laptop, which recognizes a wireless network and automatically synchronizes the proposal document with manager and sends IM 9:15am - Client meeting -1 11:00am –Sit down at Starbucks to do some work. Receive feedback from proposal, telephone messages, and price lists, photos. These are automatically synchronizes from HQ. 12:00am- Finish proposal and send to client. Follow up with clients’ messages. Send co worker an IM requests pictures of new floor designs 12:45pm. Put laptop into hibernate mode, dash to client meeting 1:00pm - Client meeting 2 3:00pm – Walk through Central Park, stop at coffee shop. Open laptop to sync information with HQ. Client has requested changes to the sent proposal.
