Dynasty's Joan Collins Launches 'I Am Woman' Fragrance
Dynasty actress Joan Collins recently launched her newest fragrance aptly called 'I Am Woman.' For
those who are too young to remember, Dynasty was a popular TV show back in the 80's.
I Am Woman is described as "a sensual scent with the presence and the power to inspire and seduce in
equal measure." And it is "unquestionably feminine."
Joan Collins, 81, can be seen in a video teaching an important lesson in artful femininity, and
advertising her perfume as well as makeup lines.
She had her very own signature fragrance, Spectacular by Joan Collins, in 1989. And before that, she
was a spokeswoman for Scoundrel by Revlon in 1980.
Collins said that she loved it when people told her that her perfume was "delicious" because it makes
her feel special. She explains, "Fragrance is a mysterious signature, it identifies a woman."
Her fragrances are available in the United Kingdom at QVC and cost £21 for 2 x 12ml. Or £43 for

Lamborghini Launches New 'L' Perfume
The renowned Italian supercar maker recently revealed its Spring-Summer 2014 clothing and
accessories collection which is spearheaded by its new 'L' men's fragrance for their line of Collezione
Automobili Lamborghini accessories.
Lamborghini says it was developed in-house by their creative team together with perfume experts. It
isn't the first fragrance Lamborghini has offered to Lamborghini owners and fans alike, but this latest
one joins such luminaries as Bugatti, Aston Martin, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz.
Along with the perfume, Lamborghini's collection includes a wide range of clothing and accessories: T-
shirts, polo shirts, vest jackets, nylon bomber jackets, blazer, cashmere jumpsuits, belts, ties, fingerless
gloves, ....
It also offers slight-stretch jeans for men and women that features green and orange contrast stitching
found in Lamborghini interiors. And leather jackets featuring inserts made from the same leather in the
cars, too.
Also available in their Spring-Summer 2014 collection is a children's range of products that are in
brighter colors.

Smell Like Freshman Year All Over Again
Syracuse University (whose notable alumni includes Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States,
legendary TV/radio presenter Dick Clark, and singer/actress Vanessa Williams) is in collaboration with
Masik Collegiate Fragrances to develop its very own signature perfume and cologne called "Syracuse
University for Her" and "Syracuse University for Him" for both women and men, respectively.
On the Masik Collegiate Fragrances website, Katie Masik, who is the company owner, said that she
hoped the official scents would remind people of the past. She stated that long after their days on
campus end, both "alumni and fans can smell that special scent and be reminded of that special time -
the campus, the sporting events, the traditions and most of all, the memories."
Since SU asked specifically for natural scents, Masik took plenty of inspiration from the outdoors and
incorporated fir trees and pine trees when creating the fragrances. Some of the scents highlight the
fresh smells of spring. And other scents are inspired by Syracuse winters.
According to Masik, a typical fragrance project can last around 6 months. Her company began
collaborating with the university in the fall so the fragrances are expected to hit shelves in spring or
summer this year.

disasters, and political upheaval.
The fragrance industry is now facing a major problem: it is getting harder to obtain regular supplies of
some necessary natural ingredients to maintain constant levels of quality. Essential oils like rose,
jasmine, vetiver, iris, vanilla, lavender, sandalwood, or ilang-ilang can't be synthesised in laboratories.
