Provided in-service on common foot types, shoes, and over the counter orthotics
Golden Living Center, Greenville, NC Skilled Nursing Facility May 2014-July 2014 (8 weeks)
Primary patient population included medically complex geriatric patients with various
musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions and cognitive dysfunction
Provided in-service on the pharmacology impact on physical therapy for three of the more
common diagnoses encountered in the facility.
Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC Acute Care October 2013-December 2013 (8 weeks)
Primary patient population included post-op cardiac and vascular conditions
Provided in-service, with a fellow classmate, on the continuum of care, from acute to inpatient
rehab, of a medically complex patient post-op cardiac condition
Vidant Beaufort, Washington, NC Outpatient Rehabilitation March 2013-May 2013 (6 weeks)
Primary patient population included orthopedic conditions, spinal conditions, total joint
replacement and wound care
Provided in-service on total shoulder arthroplasty procedures and intervention
