LETTER OF EXPLANATION
Please accept this letter of explanation regarding the lack of information given on this
application. I do not want nor intend to mislead you by failing to provide you with detailed information.
I would much appreciate the opportunity to discuss and explain this to you in person. If given an
interview, I will gladly and openly explain the specifics concerning my history – both positive and
negative.
Although I have held stable employment in the past, I have recently experienced a lapse in my
employment history. During this time I was unemployed and working on bettering myself and healing
from within. In addition, something unexpected and extraordinary also occurred. I came out of the
entire experience a better man with new outlook on my life and professional career moving forward.
I ask for the opportunity to prove to you that I can and will be an outstanding employee and an
asset to your company. Thank you very much.
