In a spin off from Ahold USA, Tops Markets was
purchased by Morgan Stanley Private Equity.
Tops was decoupled from the corporation and
thrust into the need to migrate into a stand-
alone state. I led the project management for
all sales, marketing, buying and merchandising
functions.
Kehe Food Distributors
As V.P. of Supply Chain and Logistics, I was
appointed to lead the task force whose goal
was to reduce inventory and supply chain right
sizing initiatives.
Dearborn Wholesale Grocers
My hiring was influenced by the
recommendation of the consulting company,
Ft. Dearborn Partners. They were hired to
drive profit improvement business processes
during a time when the company was entering
the death spiral. As the new V.P., I was
