1. Chapter President’s Letter

It is my pleasure to serve as the incoming President of the ISACA Boise Chapter. I look forward to
collaborating with the chapter’s board of directors to continue our quest of delivering value to our
members. Following tradition, we held a planning session in July to strategize on topics, presenters,
and venues for our upcoming events including CPE monthly meetings, seminars and member
socials. Please mark your calendars, our monthly CPE events will be held on the third Wednesday
of every month at the Boise Plaza beginning on September 18th

We start the year with 77 members and we will continue to strive to grow our membership by
delivering value added member benefits including resources, education and awareness on topics
pertaining to information technology governance, controls, security and audit. I’m pleased to
welcome our new members and I extend my gratitude to our standing members for their continued
support and participation. Additionally, I would like to thank Immediate Past President, Dawn
Teply, for her leadership and contributions towards the success of our chapter.
In closing, I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and invite you to contact me or any
of the board of directors with your comments, feedback and ideas which are instrumental in
assisting us tailor future events to meet your interests.
