for?


children will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged by the
color of their skin, but by the content of
their character.”

4. What did Dr. King “STAND”
for?

 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free,
nor is there male and female, for you are all one in
Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it
is that God does not show favoritism, but accepts from
every nation the one who fears him and does what is
right. Acts 10:34-35

5. What did Dr. King “STAND”
for?

“Our method will be that of persuasion, not
coercion… Our actions must be guided by the
deepest principles of our Christian faith. Love
must be our regulating ideal. Once again we
must hear the words of Jesus echoing across
the centuries: “Love your enemies, bless them
that curse you, and pray for them that
despitefully use you.”

 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one
another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil
or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing,
