In my school, there is a school bus. The bus is made by Merchedes Benz. Its number plat is
G 7029 D.
The school bus color is maroon red. School bus’ shape is rectangular shape. It is not too big.
The width is about 2 metres, the length is about 4 metres, and the height is about 3.5 m. In the
front side, there is a glass that is for the driver to look ahead. The top of the glass there is white
sticker that can be read as “SCHOOL BUS” . The left side of the sticker is logo of Sokawangi
Academy, and the right side of the sticker is logo of SMPN 5 Taman. On the left and right side of
the bus, there are dark glasses windows that make the passenger enable to see outside, and also
there are Sokawangi Academy logo; SMPN 5 Taman logo, title “Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow”, and an
gold arc.
Inside the bus, there are a driver seat in the front. There are also the others seat for the
passengers and the amount is 30 seats. The color of the seats is grey and it is made from fabrics
like velvet. There are only two air conditioner at the top of the driver seat and around one metre
beside it. If the passengers feel hot, they can open the glass windows at the top of the dark
glasses at the right and left sides of the bus. Outside the bus, it has four doubled tires. Two bus
doors are placed at the left side of the bus. And one door placed at the right side for the driver to
enter the bus.
The school bus is used for school transportation, especially for some students or teachers
who will go out from school and dormitory. Every school days, the bus is used for the teachers who
come to school from Penggarit in the morning and back to Penggarit in the afternoon. Usually, the
school bus driver is Mr. Slamet. When the bus is used and go to some places, it usually provides
some music from its CD player. Everyday when the bus is not used, the bus is parked in front of
dormitory building B.

My family and I went on recreation to Solo. We went there on Monday by car. We stayed at
grandparents' house.
On Tuesday we went to Tawangmangu. We enjoyed the scenic view with its waterfall and ate
lunch there. We had traditional cuisine like Oudangan, Tempe Bacem, fried fish and fried chicken.
Then we continued our trip to Taman Jurug.
The next day we went to Kasunanan Palace. We saw many kinds of historical heritage of the
palace. After that we had shopping at Klewer market and Solo Grand Mall. I bought some souvenirs
for my cousins. In the evening we Went sightseeing the town.
On Thursday morning we said goodbye to our grandparents and went home.

My Holiday was Fantastic
Last summer I got a fantastic holiday. I visited some great places.
I went to an airport and was going to fly to Cleveland. I was spending there two days. I liked to see
some Cleveland Cavaliers basketball matches.
Then I went to Hollywood. Hollywood is a famous district in Los Angeles, California, United
States. It had become world-famous as the center of the film industry. Four major film companies –

How to make a kite
Having a kite flying is interesting and make it by self is easy. Prepare the following materials to
make a kite:
 Butcher cord
 Scotch tape or glue
 1 Sheet of strong paper
 2 Strong, straight wooden sticks of bamboo
 Markers, paint or crayons
After the materials have been prepared, the directions bellow is easy instruction on how to make a
kite:
1) Make a cross with the two sticks, with the shorter stick placed horizontally across the
longer stick.
2) Tie the two sticks together with the string in such a way as to make sure that they are at
right angles to each other.
3) Cut a notch at each end of the sticks. Make it deep enough for the type of string you are
using to fit in to. Cut a piece of string long enough to stretch all around the kite frame.
4) Lay the sail material flat and place the stick frame face down on top. Cut around it, leaving
about 2-3 cm for a margin. Fold these edges over and glue it down so that the material is
tight.
5) Make a tail by tying a small ribbon roughly every 10 cm along the length of string.
6) Decorate your kite with the markers!

Thomas alva Edison was one of the greatest inventors of all time. He lived from 1847 until
1931.
He was born in Milan, Ohio, in 1847. In 1854 his family moved to Port Huron, Michigan. When
he was 12 he got very sick. As a result he became partially deaf. He attended school for only three

Peter Pan in Neverland
Once upon a time there was a beautiful place called Neverland where Peter Pan and Tinker
Bell lived. Not so far from this place was the city of London where John, Wendy, and Michael

Turmeric, an orange-colored spice imported from India, is part the ginger family and has been
a staple in Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cooking for thousands of years.

Once upon a time, in a far away land, there lived a princess named Rapunzel. When she was
born a witch took her away and locked her in a tower with no door. The tower was dark and ugly.

Tigers are members of the cat family. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and house cats are also
members of the cat family. Tigers are the largest cats, and the only cats with stripes. They live in
large forests in southern and southeastern Asia.
A tiger’s short fur is usually colored dark orange with black stripes. Each tiger has
different stripes, and you can use them to tell tigers apart. The stripes make a tiger stand out if
you see them in the open. In the forests where tigers live, however, the stripes make them almost
invisible.
Tigers have explosive speed. They have strong muscles and long legs that help them move
extremely fast over short distances. Their long tails give them balance while running fast. Powerful
jaws and sharp teeth help tigers grab and kill prey once they catch it.
Tigers eat the largest animals they can catch. They hunt wild boars, deer, wild cows, young
elephants, and young rhinos. Tigers also kill farmers’ cows and goats. Tigers prefer to avoid people.
Sometimes they attack and kill people, but only if they can’t find other food.
Tigers hunt alone. They usually hunt at night. Tigers will travel 6 to 20 miles (10 to 30 kilometers) in
one night while searching for prey.
Tigers sneak up on their prey. They use the trees and grass to hide. A tiger slowly and
