Ballarat Group Training is a small private RTO Our future vision is to be able to deliver training across a range of areas both government funded and fee for service by offering a range of learning options including flexible delivery. Our problem is the lack of skilled personnel able to assist in bringing this vision to reality.
Changes Changes in delivery – because of the 2 groups Content given the time frame we decided to add the content in word format instead of html Completion - we are commencing the delivery phase this week so the completion of all phases of the project will not occur until after the final reports have been submitted.
Was the plan a good one? What was good? The amount of learning and new skills acquired. The results which will be a valuable asset to enable us to deliver e-learning to our students. What was missing? Time Was the plan realistic? No, in hind site the way we planned the project was unrealistic in achieving all of the goals. How did the plan evolve over time? We had to make changes in the first instance to accommodate the needs of both of the teams involved. The longer periods between the workshops made maintaining momentum difficult. We also made changes to accommodate the skill sets of our participants. Again a time issue. Was the change good or bad? How did the changes affect the project? Key areas for improvement: By harnessing the skill sets of each of the participants we could have each concentrated on 1 part of the project instead of all of us trying to develop skills across the whole range which we attempted to do this time.
