2016 Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Summary:
 Responsible for all general bookkeeping for partnership having more than $5
million in annual sales. Processed an average of 35 – 40 client invoices per day.
Client base included several large banking/credit union establishments, large
hospital conglomerates, government agencies, political and non-profit
organizations, communication companies, and many small to medium-sized
companies.
 Proficient in: QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel, Word, Email.
Proprietary software. Learn new software very quickly.
 Regular duties included accounts payables, accounts receivables, payroll, payroll
taxes, and general ledger, and trouble-shooting for all financial interests.
Trained two assistants primarily to handle client invoicing.
 First line for collection efforts on delinquent accounts. Regular contact reduced
past dues by about 15%.
 Maintained and reconciled four bank accounts and twenty company credit cards.
Reviewed all transactions and corrected discrepanices.
 Provided timely payment of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax
payments and printing of W2s.
 After company purchase of small remote retail print shop, set up and maintained
accounts so that profit and loss could be determined for them separately. This
included daily reconciliation of incoming credit card charges between retail shop
and main office.
 Kept outside accounting firm apprised of all major purchases and other
information that effects year-end tax preparation. Maintained list of all assets.
 Assisted with Human Resource duties. Ensured that all documentation for new
employees were completed and maintained. Kept records of all benefits and
accompanying deductions. Led company to set up 401K benefit open to all
employees.
