This document discusses Oracle Enterprise Manager for managing IT services. It describes how Oracle Enterprise Manager allows centralized monitoring, management, and configuration of systems. It can monitor all aspects of the IT infrastructure from applications to storage. Key features include monitoring of databases, middleware, hardware, virtualization, and non-Oracle systems. Oracle Enterprise Manager provides lifecycle management capabilities for planning, building, testing, deploying, and managing cloud environments. Grid Controlis näitad ära hosti nime, OS, kasutajanime ja PW ning
EM teeb ise agendi installatsiooni ja ca 2 minuti pärast juba tulevad
raportid ja graafikud.
Pigem küsimus, mida mitte vaadata.
On ka eeldefineeritud tasemed, mille peale saadab teateid.
Kusjuures logib ise MetaLinki ja uurib kõikide Oracle toodete patch
levelid ja teeb kiiresti soovituse Criticalid peale panna ja teeb ka seda.
Eeldab, et süsteemidel on kehtiv Oracle tugiteenus.

Siit lähebki raskeks J - teenuste, ärivaadete, SLAde
defineerimine. See pole üldse tehniline protsess.
Tuleb äriinimestega või teenusejuhtide käest SLAd
välja kaubelda ja siis neid konfigureerima hakata.
Edasi on nokitsemine värvilise ekraani taga.
Saab luua ka Chargebacki, ehk siis äriüksuste billimine
teenuste kasutamise eest.
Rollipõhine juurdepääs, lood erinevate võimalustega
grupid- sysadminnid, teenustehaldurid, testijad jne
