must be used when reaching
object on high shelves

•Kept sharp & carried by handles
•Kept in safe & proper places
•Washed separately from other
utensil
5. The range surface must not be left
turned on or unattended
6. Gas should be turned off after using
and before leaving the kitchen

1.Defective electrical cords &
appliances must be replaced
repaired at once
2. Pot handles on the stoves
should be turned in so they do
not extend out into the
passageway

held securely by the handles
when stirring food/removing
from stove
4. The lid is titled away from the
face when removing from a hot
pot
5. Damp towels for handling hot
containers must not be used
6. Fat should not allowed to overheat
7. Blanket/ rug must be kept ready to
wrap around the body in
distinguishing fires

• STOP
• DROP
• ROLL
