Editor's Notes

  1. Fragile – wouldn’t throw it in the back seat of the car!Can easily be used by libraries – think about all the time we spend processing a book, you have to spend that much time with the ereader too, but you’d have to do it everytime someone checked it out. But that wouldn’t be the case if the patron owned the ereader and the library just provided access to the ebook.Interactive ebooks are coming this halloween – ipad’sdracula with soundtrack, animations and there are already travel books with web links to location informationPhysical space – this is what makes up our libraries and fills our homes. We are sentimental about it because we love them, but it’s really quite impractical. What if every song we liked took up 1 inch of shelf space? We don’t seem to mind the digitization of music…
