• It is a social networking service owned by
Specific Media LLC and pop star Justin
Timberlake.
• Myspace launched in August 2003 and is
headquartered in Beverly Hills, California.
• In June 2012, Myspace had 25 million unique
U.S. visitors

3. How to get started?
1. Go to www.myspace.com
2. Look for the member log-in box on the MySpace home page. Inside the
box, you should see an orange "Sign Up!" button. Click on this button to
start the process.
3. Fill in the required fields on the sign-up page. You'll need an email
address to get started.
4. Set your password to something easy for you to remember. Confirm in
the box immediately
5. Read the terms and privacy statements and indicate that you accept those
terms.
6. Fill in the verification numbers
7. Upload a picture of yourself so people can put a face to your name.
8. Enter information into your profile. Click on "Edit Profile" and tell people
about your favorite books, movies and heroes. Keep any personal

for everyone on a Myspace user's friends list to see.
2. In early 2006, Myspace introduced Myspace IM, an instant
messenger that uses one's Myspace account as a screen
name. Users who use Myspace IM get instant notification of
new Myspace messages, friend requests, and comments.
3. In early 2007, Myspace introduced MySpaceTV, a service
similar to the YouTube video sharing website. In 2009,
MySpaceTV reverted back to Myspace Video.

 Includes blogging- myspace can be said as blogging too since it is use
to shares about our life, news etc
