This document summarizes a presentation by Dr. K. Dean Reeves on the capabilities of low-cost prolotherapy based on clinical cases. It describes a 68-year-old patient with left knee pain who received 6 injections of dextrose solution over 9 months, resulting in reduced pain and increased mobility. Knee x-rays and arthroscopy showed cartilage repair. Microscopic examination of biopsy samples found predominantly hyaline cartilage growth after treatment. The presentation provides evidence that low-cost prolotherapy can effectively treat knee osteoarthritis.
