This upcoming weekend is the Division 4 day for Memorial Day, enjoy yourselves.

1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley Update - Fort Riley to honor fallen Soldiers – May 28: To honor those who have died serving the nation, a
special ceremony will take place at 11:40 a.m. May 28 on Memorial Day at the Fort Riley Post Cemetery on Huebner Road. Brig. Gen. Donald
MacWillie, senior commander, Fort Riley, will give a speech and place a symbolic wreath at the base of the cemetery’s monument, assisted by
Fort Riley Command Sgt. Maj. Miguel Rivera. Boy Scout Troop No. 41 will support the 1st Infantry Division in advance by placing miniature flags
on each grave. The 1st Inf. Div. Band will play “Amazing Grace” and “America the Beautiful.” All local veterans and veteran organizations are
invited to attend.

       * I’m Here for You Now: This board book allows families to add their own pictures to make the story personal. The messages in this book
are important for children to hear from its caregivers and other important people in a child’s life during stressful times.
         *Over There, Daddy Version and Over There, Mommy Version: This board book, available in a Daddy version and a Mommy version, is
from a child’s point of view and compares what a deployed father or mother may be doing while a child is at home. It is designed to provide
reassurance and comfort to a young child who is separated from a military parent because of deployment. This nurturing activity has the added
benefit of keeping hearts and minds open to a successful reunion. Each book has an insert in the back for a photo of the deployed parent so that
the child can see Mommy or Daddy while thinking about her or him. How to Order: To order materials from the MOS Service Provider catalog,

Location: Camp Joy, Clarksville, Ohio -near Cincinnati Ages: 14-18, Spaces: 30 -for military youth of all branches, components, and status; up
to 30 for parents/caregivers Registration deadline: 12 noon (EST), May 25, 2012 Come experience adventures tailored just for special needs
teenagers – high ropes and zip line, archery, aquatic skills, canoeing, fossil hunting – and traditional camp activities, too! Camp Joy is accredited
by the American Camp Association and can meet most accessibility needs. Accessible features include: zero access entry swimming pool; indoor
ropes course with giant swing; indoor climbing wall; and high ropes course with a hydraulic zip line lift. Camp Joy staff can accommodate varying
medical, physical, and emotional special needs teens, so they can attend on their own (in certain circumstances, a parent/caregiver must attend
with their teen to ensure all needs are met). Even if your special needs teen is independent, we encourage parents/caregivers to attend the
camp with their son or daughter. Thanks to special grant funding the registration fee is just $30 (includes camp T-shirt and photo). Register early
to reserve your space! ~ Camp subject to cancelation if enrollment is insufficient; full registration fee refund will be given. Worried about
transportation costs? Funding is available to help with transportation costs to get you to and from camp. Participants will be responsible for
traveling to and from camp, but can be reimbursed for travel expenses up to $350, depending on mode of transportation and distance traveled.
A bus will also be picking campers up at, and returning them to, WPAFB (near Dayton).

MMA Fan?? Get tickets to Titan Fight 23 on Friday, June 15 http://rileymwr.com/main/?p=32540 at Marshall Army Airfield for just $10 at
LeisureTravelCenter. The price will go up to $30 at the door so make sure you get them now!
Tickets are $10 for Department of Defense cardholders. DoD cardholders may bring one guest with them at the $10 ticket price and must have
their ID with them on the night of the event. There is a “1 +1” rule – a Soldier and his wife, also a cardholder, can each purchase a $10 ticket, and
they        may         each       purchase        an         additional       $10      ticket        for      each       of      their       guests.
The ID cardholder must accompany the guest through the gate on the night of the fight. If anyone wishes to bring more than one guest per ID
cardholder, the additional guest tickets must be purchased at the general admission ticket price, which is $30. These also are available at LTC. All
$10 tickets sales will end at 5 p.m. June 15. Tickets sold at the door will be $30 general admission tickets See flyer.

Country Stampede – Country Stampede is in need of Volunteers to work at the 4 day concert located at Tuttle Creek State Park June 21-24.
Volunteers will receive, free admission all 4 days, free parking, and free reserved seating, free t-shirt, free lunch and dinner. Volunteers must

Brig. Gen. Donald MacWillie, senior commander, Fort Riley, will give a speech and place a symbolic wreath at the base of the cemetery’s monument, assisted by Fort Riley Command Sgt. Maj. Miguel Rivera. Boy Scout Troop No. 41 will support the 1st Infantry Division in advance by placing miniature flags on each grave. The 1st Inf. Div. Band will play “Amazing Grace” and “America the Beautiful.” All local veterans and veteran organizations are invited to attend. The messages in this book are important for children to hear from its caregivers and other important people in a child’s life during stressful times. *Over There, Daddy Version and Over There, Mommy Version: This board book, available in a Daddy version and a Mommy version, is from a child’s point of view and compares what a deployed father or mother may be doing while a child is at home. It is designed to provide reassurance and comfort to a young child who is separated from a military parent because of deployment. This nurturing activity has the added benefit of keeping hearts and minds open to a successful reunion. Each book has an insert in the back for a photo of the deployed parent so that the child can see Mommy or Daddy while thinking about her or him. Camp Joy is accredited by the American Camp Association and can meet most accessibility needs. Accessible features include: zero access entry swimming pool; indoor ropes course with giant swing; indoor climbing wall; and high ropes course with a hydraulic zip line lift. Camp Joy staff can accommodate varying medical, physical, and emotional special needs teens, so they can attend on their own (in certain circumstances, a parent/caregiver must attend with their teen to ensure all needs are met). The price will go up to $30 at the door so make sure you get them now! Tickets are $10 for Department of Defense cardholders. DoD cardholders may bring one guest with them at the $10 ticket price and must have their ID with them on the night of the event. There is a “1 +1” rule – a Soldier and his wife, also a cardholder, can each purchase a $10 ticket, and they may each purchase an additional $10 ticket for each of their guests. The ID cardholder must accompany the guest through the gate on the night of the fight. If anyone wishes to bring more than one guest per ID cardholder, the additional guest tickets must be purchased at the general admission ticket price, which is $30. These also are available at LTC.
