2. How a stock market works?

3. What is ITAX? This is a non profit learning programme to incorporate all the concepts and terms related to stock market trading. Innovated by Mr. Nikhil Srivastava and Mr.Mukesh Kumar.

4. Goal of ITAX To make you handy with all the terms and concepts of stock market trading. To make you understand that how we can analyze the market by reading the graphs and data shown in the real stock market. To make you understand that how any stock market really works by making a prototype of real market here and trading in that prototype by using virtual/real money (optional).

5. How we will approach? We are starting with two well known books for learning stock market. Technical analysis of stock trends written by Edwards Magee Bassetti and Short selling written by Frank J. Fabozzi. We are using the virtual market on moneybhai to make you learn how to play with real companies stocks. We are creating exact prototype of stock market including its associates.

6. How we will approach? Contd… Relating current status of market with our classroom session. Implementing all the learning of MBA such as software to analyze data, to make graphs, to analyze ITAX market everything you can include.

7. How many bodies are there The mentors : to teach lessons on trade. Team 1 :Playing on virtual market. Team 2 :Playing on companies symbolized by team 1 player such as mantri-corp if Mr. Dharmendra is playing in team 1. Data analysis team, expert in using software's of BS. ITC : Investment and trading coordinator for issuing and controlling flow of shares.

9. Calculation There are two markets : 1. Virtual market : (for members) 2. ITAX market. (for members and non members) Suppose , In starting 10 players will play in virtual market and these 10 players will be treated as 10 individual companies for which 100 shares per company will be issued to play in ITAX market. Each member or non member can trade on these stocks. IPO of Rs 100 per share will be issued to each playing company.

10. Calculation contd… Each stock has face value of Rs. 100 in ITAX market (called as 100 Nx). Now , since the stocks have been issued they can now be traded in secondary market that is ITAX. Each student’s stock will rise depending on his performance that is 1% for each 1000 earned in virtual market. (1000 is base which can se vary according to the situation and can be change according to situation.) For example : one stock of M- CAP has market value of Rs. 100 on 23rd sep. which is its face value.

11. Calculation contd… Now he earns 2000 Rs in virtual market (called as 2000 V) on 26th sep. So his stock’s new market value(MV) will be = present MV (1+ Money earned/ 1000*1/100) = present MV (1+earned money/100000) =100(1+ 2000/100000)= 102 Nx 100 Nx = 1 Rs in real world.(0ptional)

12. Flow of real money (optional) Real money will drive us to trade more and learn more and more by making this game active at least for 0ne year!!! It all depends on you…

13. How academics is related with it. For making it more interesting and giving value to marks, we are integrating MTE 1 (not applicable in this sem), MTE 2 and SEM marks as the derivatives of the companies T1 having value , 1 Mark= 1000V And hence in the time period when marks will be declared the total market value of T1shares will be Market value in money bhai+ derivative in the unit of ‘V’.

14. Currency to be used ‘V’ = for virtual money in money bhai Starting amount= 2500000 V ‘Nx’ = for virtual money in ITAX Market Starting value = 100 Nx (= value of one share) ‘Rs’ = real world Starting value = no. of share,n * 1 Rs

15. Rules 1. Each ITAX member can play in both market. 2. Non member can play in ITAX market 3. No T1 company can short sell its own share e .g. mantri_corp_T1 cant short sell its own share.

16. Rules contd… 4. Any T2 member can trade on any number of companies. 5. ITAX face group has been chosen for transaction purpose hence no transaction will be accounted dealed at any other place. 6. Academics derivative will be applicable to every type of trade happening at the time of declaration of marks. (STI & LTI)

17. Rules contd… 7. Only those transaction will be accounted which will be in required format. 8. Every analysis report will be updated on ITAX FB group.

18. ITAX activities STI = short term investment. LTI = long term investment.

STI: short term investment Time period : 15 days (2 trading per month) 1st slot : 1st Tuesday : analysis of 1st Monday and 1st Tuesday displayed on ITAX FB by A1 1st Thursday : analysis of 1st Wednesday and 1st Thursday displayed on ITAX FB by A2 2nd Tuesday : analysis of 2nd Monday and 2nd Tuesday displayed on ITAX FB by A1

20. STI contd… 2nd Thursday : analysis of 2nd Wednesday and 2nd Thursday displayed on ITAX FB by A2 2nd Friday : analysis of 1st Monday to 2nd Friday displayed on ITAX FB by A3 * T1 and T2 members will be selected by voting before 2 weeks of every trading period and shares will be issued before 1 week for 7 days.

21. LTI : Long term trading Time period : 60 days (2 trading per semester) Schedule will be displayed 10 days prior of the trading period.

22. What you can contribute You will be the any of these bodies.(T1, T2 and Analyst A1-5) You can share your knowledge related to stock market in weekly classroom session. Your every suggestion is welcome.
