Responsible for service delivery to health care contracts across the South of

2014 – 2016 Contract Manager FES FM
Responsible for managing hard facilities on behalf of the surgical and in patient
wings of the Whittington Hospital PFI contract.
• Responsible for the day to day management of FES FM FM staff (9) and visiting
maintenance contractors i.e. BMS, lift maintenance, UPS maintenance, water
treatment and monitoring, air conditioning and ventilation.
• Responsible for lifecycle management and smallworks
2010 – 2013 Modus FM / Initial Facilities Technical Services Contract Manager
Responsible for managing hard facilities on behalf of the Atkinson Morley Wing St
Georges Hospital Tooting. 2 months
Responsible for managing hard facilities on behalf of the Institute of Cancer
Research comprising of laboratories in a multisite complex.
• Responsible for contract management on behalf of Modus FM for a £1 million
contract.
• Responsible for the day to day management of Modus FM staff (14) and visiting
maintenance contractors i.e. BMS, lift maintenance, UPS maintenance, water
treatment and monitoring, air conditioning and ventilation.
2002 – 2010 The London Clinic Contracts & Procurement Manager
Responsible for managing hard facilities, contracts, procurement of outsource
service providers that support building maintenance for this largest private hospital
in the UK.
• Financial management of £3.4 million budget
• Lead a team of two within a Department of 26 specialists
• Identify and specify future capital replacement work
• Responsible for arranging tenders, awarding contracts up to £250K
• Managing the installation of capital equipment including lifts, chillers, air
conditioning and security systems
• Generate PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), reactive maintenance and
manage statutory inspection and testing
• Manage approx 40 outsource providers to the Clinic
• Responsible for negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers
• Undertook additional (Hospital Engineer) duties and represented Department on
site reporting to Director of Corporate Services

• Responsible for specifying work and awarding contracts for major building
refurbishment and maintenance projects planned for summer recess
• Introduced approved contractor scheme which was adopted business-wide

1996 – 2001 BAE Systems (Dunsfold) Mechanical Operations Controller
Managed in house and outsourced maintenance of this airfield production site
manufacturing Harrier aircraft comprising of production hangers, runway & offices
• Manager of 17 in house mechanical, carpentry & semiskilled staff
• Responsible for management and reorganisation of production facilities
in the final assembly of Harrier VSTOL aircraft.
