Re: Recommendation letter for Nico Mladic
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Nico Mladic who completed his internship at
our Texas office between June and July of this year becoming part of our Finance team. During
this period, he was exposed to the receivables, payables, and month-end close processes while
completing a variety of special projects.
His sociable demeanour gained him a warm welcome by our team at Element Six, who were
more than willing to show him the different procedures to equip Nico to perform the rotational
functions he was assigned. One of these projects included the revision of credit limits for our
customers in the US. With acute listening skills and willingness to go beyond the basic task, he
completed this work before the timeframe we had expected.
Interested in capital budgeting, Nico delivered recommendations for leasing vs. purchasing of
office equipment. He proved to be resourceful enough as Nico was not provided all the pertinent
information he needed for this analysis. He had to reach out to suppliers and Element Six
employees in different offices to compile this information and create a template for this project.
Overall, we were all pleased with Nico’s eagerness to learn. He was an attentive trainee that
saved us repetition and impressed us with his retentive memory. As the end of his internship
approached, he was able to complete tasks much quicker, asking for additional assignments to fill
his time. Therefore, I favourably recommend Nico to anyone who would employ him as they would
not be disappointed.
