This document provides an overview of knowledge translation (KT) and the KT services offered by NeuroDevNet. It defines KT as a dynamic process that includes synthesizing, disseminating, exchanging, and applying research knowledge to improve health. Effective KT requires engaging stakeholders, tailoring communication to audiences, and considering social and environmental contexts. Relationship building, trust, commitment and communication are key to facilitating KT. NeuroDevNet's KT Core assists researchers in planning KT, producing clear summaries, using social media, and building KT capacity through training and evaluation frameworks. The goal is to maximize the societal impact of neurodevelopmental research.
