Dear Natasha,
On behalf of the Joseph Jacobs Scholarship Committee, I am writing to inform you that
the committee has reviewed the entries for the 2016 Jacobs Labor Scholarship and has
voted to award you one $2,000 scholarship. Congratulations! This scholarship will be
applied to your fall (2016) and spring (2017) semester fees in two $1,000.00 increments.
Please contact me as soon as possible to schedule an appointment to complete the
necessary paperwork – it won’t take long, but we must provide an original signature. My
office is located on the 8th
floor of Library South.
The Committee enjoyed your essay and wishes you the very best for your studies at
Georgia State University. Mr. Jacobs’ generosity and his love of the labor movement and
higher education live on through this scholarship. Once again, congratulations!
Sincerely,
Traci JoLeigh Drummond, CA
