My responsibilities include caring for people affected at the local ammunition’s plant in
Burlington. Patients may have a variety of different medical needs; including, but not limited to,
difficulties arising from cancer, respiratory problems, mobility difficulties, sight impairment and
hearing impairment. In most cases these patients need around the clock care. They may need
help bathing, so it is not a job for the “faint of heart”. The responsibilities I assume extend into
making their illness or disability as comfortable as possible. A big contributor in achieving this is
not only the physical support but the emotional support as well.
SCC Adult Literacy Program | Tutor/Internship for Criminal Justice Program

As an adult literacy tutor I act as a mentor to adults and students who have had difficulties
reading. This is a free, one on one, confidential tutoring session. I assist them in reading books, I
also help them read other types of materials such as prescription medicine containers and items
from their work or school. We meet as little as once a week. Ultimately, the schedule is designed
to fit both the tutor and the individuals schedule.

As a security guard for G4S I am responsible for checking camera feeds and making sure the site
is secure from any unwanted personal and vehicles. I take part in foot patrols ensuring that
areas within the perimeter are secure. I file reports daily on occurrences and visitors, making
sure everyone who enters knows any and all safety precautions, especially ones that have
recently come into effect or have changed since a person’s last visit. Furthermore I check all
trucks, leaving and entering the site for proper documentation, such as shipping manifests, this
ensures that what is in the trucks is what is supposed to be in the trucks; helping prevent loss to
the company.

officers working at the hospital; now that Per Mar would be providing the security. Following
my initial start-up I would workat The Lance Factory, providing security to the main entryway
and parking lot. The final location I worked at was The Case Plant. At The Case Plant, I would
