National District Cluster School Provincial Classroom Action Research (CAR) Model Training of PCT on the principle of CAR and give examples (part of national training package) All cluster members participate in development of proposal and defining learning approach Implement approach in the classroom with peer observation Reflection Refine learning approach One group of 8 teachers from each grade (KKG) or subject (MGMP) produce 1 CAR report and 1 learning model (teaching aids and learning media). Grant will be used among others to provide technical assistance. Teachers at school may join in this project. The Plan of Implementing KKG-MGMP Block Grant Output 3 years: Teachers have been trained (basic & advanced); complete syllabus & lesson plan and test item banking are provided; teachers are capable on doing CAR & portfolio, writing academic paper; there are 18 trained & experienced facilitators; head teacher & supervisor are ready and accustom to conduct on-service and evaluation on teacher performance. Transition program: Bermutu provides budget/grants for CAR, symposium, bulletin; Distrct covers budget for on-service & evaluation of teacher performance.
