 Pathway students are prepared to participate in internships during their junior
year or the summer before their senior year
 Students must have a 2.0 GPA, complete an internship application, and attend
pre-internship workshops in order to be eligible for paid and unpaid
internships
 Other worthwhile programs such as Upward Bound and other summer school
programs and activities make it difficult for all eligible students to participate

 Over 1600 high school students enrolled in college and career pathways participated in work-
based learning activities in 2012-2013.
 There was a 40% increase in the number of career exploration visits and career development
activities from the previous year.
