You know your military members and your credit union works to provide a suite of

products and services that caters specifically to their needs. At Genworth Mortgage

Insurance, we work to provide customized solutions to each of our customers. We

strive to help our customers, even beyond mortgage insurance, by helping you

grow your business and better serve your members. However, we recognize that

military families have a different set of needs than other members.




Therefore, we’ve created a customized value proposition for our military-focused

credit unions. And, rather than having our marketing team and product

developers focus on this challenge, we decided to go to those within our

organization who know what it’s like to be in the military. This team put their

heads together (and of course there were some jabs across branches) and came

up with an impressive list of ideas. Today, we’re introducing three of these to you.

Innovative solutions for military members

Homebuyer          American. Moving is expensive, and we want to position you to help your
Privileges®        current or prospective members save money on the expenses of moving or the
                   expenses of maintaining their current home. Genworth Homebuyer Privileges
                   is a program that connects your members and prospects to popular national
                   retailers such as Lowe’s, Sears Commercial, Bed, Bath & Beyond and more.
                   Through this program, your members are eligible for up to $3,500 in discounts
                   on products and services for their new home — regardless of whether or not they
                   need mortgage insurance.



Homebuying         Ensuring that your military members understand the process of buying a home
Seminar in a Box   and the financial products available to them is already important to you. We’d
                   like to introduce you to an approach that we hope can make it easier for you to
                   hold group sessions to educate military personnel and their families prior to
                   buying a home. Simply put, it’s a homebuying seminar in a box. This kit has
                   everything from logistical support in setting up the session to content to tools
                   for following up after the session. We look forward to introducing you to our
                   CU@Home program to help make it easier for you to deliver the education that
                   all new homebuyers should receive.

We’re very proud of our colleagues who courageously served our country.
We’d like to introduce you to some of them.

               Mike DiSalvio, Sales Account Manager,                                           Ed Robinson, Vice President,
               served as a Signalman 3rd class on the                                          Operations, served in Army Special
               USS Comstock LSD from 1969-70 off the                                           Operations from 1989-2006. During
               coast of Vietnam. He earned a Vietnam                                           this time, he completed two tours in Iraq,
               service medal for his efforts.                                                  and one each in Bosnia and Korea.




               Brian Doyle, Vice President,                                                    Kevin Universal, Product Development
               Commercial Operations, is currently                                             Manager, served as a Captain in the
               a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force                                           Army from 1990-1997. He served in
               Reserve. As a decorated C-17 pilot,                                             Desert Storm with the 24th I.D. (M) and
               he’s flown missions to six different                                            was a member of the 3rd Armored

               Adam Johnston, Chief Appraiser,                             Military Academy at West Point, he served three
               served in the United States Marine                          deployments in Iraq and one tour in Korea.
               Corps as a heavy machine gunner. He
               was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.,                        Marianne Zeid, Operations Specialist, served as a Yeoman,
               with the Second Marine Division,                            E4 in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1989. She spent her military
               Weapons Company 2/8.                                        service time working at the Pentagon with the Program and
                                                                           Budget Division (OP-30).


               Ranee Langston, Sales Account
               Manager, served in the South Carolina
               Army National Guard as a Supply
               Specialist from 1987-1992.

Mike DiSalvio, Sales Account Manager, Ed Robinson, Vice President, served as a Signalman 3rd class on the Operations, served in Army Special USS Comstock LSD from 1969-70 off the Operations from 1989-2006.
