6. Timetable 2012/2013
We have rolling enrolment on our English programmes,
which means that students can join courses on any
Monday, provided they have come to the induction the
previous Friday.
Any student whose course is six weeks or longer MUST
attend the Friday induction and placement test. Stu-
dents on a course of five weeks or less should be di-
rected to seda.redirectme.net/exam, where they can
do the test online in their own country. Students on a
longer course are NOT permitted to do the test online
before they arrive. For short term students, the result
and start date should be emailed to the director of
studies by whoever sold the student the course before
12 noon on the Friday before the student’s start date.
Students can ONLY start on a Monday, irrelevant of
whether they have bought a one week or twenty five
week course.
Although students can start any time, English courses
at SEDA have definite semesters. The information be-
low will enable the sales team/ agents to properly in-
form students where other students in the class will be
when they arrive.
Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Pre Intermediate (B1)
and Intermediate (B1+) courses at SEDA are 12 weeks
long. Upper Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1)
courses are 24 weeks long. For these higher levels,
semester 1 and 2 is one course and semester 3 and 4
is another course. One year students at lower levels
would normally expect to complete two full levels dur-
ing their course.
