2. JobScout provides an easy-to-
use dashboard.
JobScout’s dashboard has been developed to
ask a series of simple questions to get the
user started. The feedback of librarians,
educators and those in the education and
workforce development space has been
critical to its design.
JobScout provides a robust set
of Internet Skills core lesson
content.
The lessons range from how to use a browser
to how to prepare for a job interview using
online resources. JobScout currently has 31
lessons, where users can earn badges upon
their successful completion. The job search begins right on the
JobScout site.
Users can search for jobs through JobScout’s
job search tool, powered by several services,
including job aggregator SimplyHired.com.
Gamification is used to incentivize and
create a useful, educational experience.
JobScout uses games like word jumbles, picture ID and
fill in the blanks to reinforce content learned during
lessons. Users have the ability to compare their earned
badges with other users through the JobScout social
network.
JobScout uses a “red light, green light” system
to let users know when to continue to review
content and when to move forward.

3. JobScout’s COMPASS data analytics system allows customers to track the progress and usage of
JobScouters within their organization. With your own private dashboard, your organization can track
metrics such as:
