2. She calls up Ariette anonymously, and lets
her believe she is from the press and
knows all about her secret daughter. The
price for her silence? Ariette needs to
bring her daughter home herself, and
recognise Annette as her legitimate heir.

3. When asked why, Trinity pretends her
character was abandoned as illegitimate,
and hates to see children treated as she
was despite society moving past the
issue of wedlock. Ariette agrees.
If the reporter outs her secret daughter,
she’ll seem the bad guy. If she comes
clean herself, it will look like she’s
bravely combating the strictures of the
backwards looking community she was
born to. She has no choice.
Annette will have to come and live with
her.

4. Over at number 2, a much happier
little girl than Annette is about to
become a child. It’s Megans
birthday, and Teresa and Warren
can’t wait for her to age up.

5. The sparkles began, and
Megan changed.

6. Warren had her bedroom all prepared. The
old dingy room where Miranda used to work
was transformed. Warren had spent his first
few paychecks from his garden to finance it.

7. James wasn’t
particularly happy
about sharing the
room with Megan.
Couldn’t they just
buy a new house?

8. At least his half of the room was
decorated the way he wanted it.
With the same colour on the walls
there had always been. And if she
got too annoying, he planned to
drown her out with music.

9. Megan was impressed with
the new-ness of everything
on her side. She wasn’t sure
it was exactly ‘her though’. A
bit… pink. A little too… girly.

10. With Megan’s birthday over with, Warren
gets on with wedding preparations.
Including the Stag and Hen nights! He
calls in old friends he hasn’t seen since
Miranda’s funeral, as well as new friends
he’s made since moving to Deasil Street.

11. His Stag do is basically an
excuse for this father of two to
get stinking drunk and have a
laugh. Speeches over with, the
champagne flows… and some of
those who get wet strip down!

12. Pablo Martinez is certainly getting into the
spirit of things, but takes things to far
when he hits on the sexy maid dancer a
little too creepily. She gives him a good
knee to the groin, and the party carries on
with much merriment at his expense. But
Warren took a couple of moments to be
blearily concerned. Pablo was a married
man!

13. Bernice Kasitova travels down for Teresa’s slightly more
sedate Hen do, and meets Jen for the first time. They get
on, though Jen is a little intimidated by the length and
strength of the other two’s friendship

14. Did we say more
sedate? Once the
speech finishes Bernice
pulls out the
champagne and the
cocktails and sexy male
strippers start up.

15. Their frantic night of partying
ends with the three of them in a
complete strangers back garden
hot tub. As Bernice points
out, who needs sleep when
your warm and cosy in luxury
bubbles?

16. Jen makes her excuses and
leaves, while the two best
friends watch dawn break. It
was an excellent party, a
perfect send off to singledom.

17. It’s wedding day on Deasil
Street! Teresa is ready
first, while Warren
chivvies the children into
getting dressed properly.

18. James was still not completely happy about
how everything was turning out. He loved
his dad, but wasn’t sure about having a
mum. His first had died and left them,
Teresa had left them, what gave her the
right to try again?

19. While the kids get ready and the
decorators set up the wedding arch
Teresa and Warren do a bit of
gardening. It’s their shared livelihood
from now on after all.
Teresa checks out the catering too,
hoping that everything would be
perfect. It was the only wedding day
she planned to ever have.

20. Soon the guests
started to arrive, in
the casual outfits the
couple asked them to.
They wanted it to be a
free and easy day.

21. Though James and
Megan had been made
to make an effort. They
weren’t really on
speaking terms, with
James continuing to be
spiky toward his little
sister.
Megan wasn’t sure
what to make of him,
she only knew she
looked more like their
dad than he did. He was
like the odd one out
with a dead woman’s
dirty blond hair.

22. Everyone gathered for the
ceremony, tastefully decorated in
white and pale spring green.

23. The usual vows are spoken,
and the rings exchanged.

24. Warren kisses his new bride, and the
couple are married.

25. The newly-weds cut the cake,
and make speeches.

26. Finally, they pose for a family photograph with their
children. Megan is loving the entire spectacle, and all
the attention as ‘the miracle’ that brought her parents
together. James however, was somewhat distracted by
the classical musician hired for the occasion.

27. Finally though,
the guests go
home, the
children go to bed
… and so do the
Warren and
Teresa Bailey.
