RESPONSIBILITIES and ABILITIES:
A strongworking knowledge of vertical, directional andhorizontal wells.
Experience with coring operations/ correlation/interpretation/log analysis/thin section.
Pick casing point/core point, changes in drilling parameters.
Cuttingsand core samples evaluation, description and lithological interpretation.
Clastic, carbonate sedimentology and sequential stratigraphy analysis
Abundant experience with LWD and MWD and geo-steering horizontal wells in multi-layered Carbonate
reservoirs.
Supervise the Mud logging personnel of program requirements.
Hydrocarbon shows analysis and description: stain, cut fluorescence, Gas Chromatography.
Reservoir analysis and correlation in mixed siliciclastic /carbonate environments.
Witness log acquisition and quality control.
Advise directional driller on target objective.
Perform all geological and formation evaluation activity.
Interpreted daily log with target projections.
Prepare final well operation report, interpreted log and digital log file(s).
Experience in report writing and presentation and delivery.
Supervision & co-ordination of all aspects of wellsite geological operation.
