Change Skin Color Technique Checklist:
1)
Identify two color areas for change: the Target (change from) and Destination (change
to). Hover over with the Eyedropper Tool (set to 5x5) and write down both sets of RGB
numbers.
2)
Go to Select Color Range to make a selection of the Target color. Use fuzziness slider to
expand the selection area. Click OK.
2. 3)
Invoke the Curves Adjustment Layer. This will automatically mask to the selection.
4)
Select On-image (finger) adjustment tool in the Curves Adjustment Layer and CommandShift click in the center of the Target Eye Dropper point. This sets a specific point on each
channel of the curve.
5)
Go back to the Target points in Curves and remap the Target numbers to the Destination
numbers: use the + and – keys to cycle through to the Target number.
9)
The skin will look mottled: Blur the Curves mask.
10)
Adjust opacity to taste.
11)
Command + Click on the mask to invoke a new selection. Make a Hue and Saturation
Adjustment Layer. Adjust to taste. This is optional.
