2. TM SoftMouseDB Why Would You Set a Plug Using the MOVE Button? Do you need an easy way to separate multiple plugged females from one or more males at one time? Do you want to move recently plugged females into the same cage?
3. From the Family List: 1.Select the family(ies) containing the female(s) to be plugged 2.Click MOVE button Tip! In a breeding cage with multiple females, if you only want to move one of the females out of the cage, you must move her from the Mouse List, not the Family List. Moving from the family List results in ALL mice in the cage to be moved.
4. From the Move Page: If you want to move multiple plugged females into the same cage, you can use the Check boxes and GROUP button to group the females so that they can be moved together Tip! You can also move each female into their own cage by simply leaving them in the “Upgrouped” list
5. On the Move Page: 1. Use the Radio buttons to select a New cage or Existing cage for the mice to be moved 2. If moving to a new cage, fill in the fields as required: Cage Tag, Family Type and Mouseline 3. If moving to an existing cage, click the “Select” link to choose an existing cage
6. On the Move Page: 1. Click the Check All box once you are ready to complete your move 2. Click VERIFY button
7. On the Move Verification Page: 1. Ensure the Move Allowance column is marked “Allowed” 2. Click CONFIRM button to complete the Move Tip! If the “Move Allowance” column is marked as “Failed” in RED font, please: reference the “Comment” column for the reason for the failure click BACK button to modify your cage selection accordingly
