POSITION PURPOSE
 Understand the customer pain points, and then suggest the right solution
to solve customer issues. (Driving the conversation with the customer to
solution discussion rather than hardware specs discussion).
 To identify new business opportunities for all Zebra products (Barcode,
Cards, Supplies, services and recently Motorola solutions products) from
a defined list of target accounts and vertical markets within the assigned
territory.
 To qualify and win these opportunities by:
a) Establishing strong relationships with the ‘end user’ to specify Zebra as
core to their printing requirement within the overall solution
b) Working with the appropriate Zebra channels and/or Alliance partners
c) Efficiently engaging and utilizing Zebra internal resources such as
vertical and product marketing teams.
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL
 Develop and maintain end user account relationships and oversees sales
campaigns and projects.
 Identify major projects in the nominated accounts — specify and win
orders
 Being the primary negotiator in major business opportunities
 Awareness of vertical markets trends —- latest related technologies and
suppliers activities.
 Achieve new project and sales targets.
 Maximizing the revenue and margin opportunities for Zebra products
and services by selling the appropriate products, services and solutions
into the customer requirement.
 Work closely with the vertical marketing group to understand the target
markets and applications that are being developed.
 Providing feedback on major customer requirements into the vertical
marketing group.
 Develop a list of key target accounts by application based on the output
from the vertical marketing group.
 Establish contacts with key regional and international system integrators,
ISV’s and explore business potential.
