Travel Pals (India) private limited is a
closely held family business started by
Harish Kumar Chopra is being carried on
under his guidance by the next
generation; ensuring the most
personalized and attentive services to its
clients from across the world. The fact

registration, accommodation requests
and travel arrangements.
 Abstract Management & Registration
– Manage all aspects of abstract
handling (on-line abstract handling
and/or paper abstract handling,
assisting in reviewing process,
production of an abstract publication,
etc.), Support the Scientific
Committee, Co-ordinate the speakers’
programme, Handle programme
management (planning of sessions,
overall logistics related to the
contents of the conference
programme, production of a
programme overview, etc.)
 Accommodation & Travel – The local
knowledge of the team and long
business relationship with the hotels
can help in selection and negotiation
of rates and contract finalization. The
in house developed module can be
integrated with the online registration
service to provide real time access to
room inventory with automatic e-mail
alerts.
 Exhibition Management – We can
assist in preparing a manual for
exhibitors and respective contracts,
Allocate booth spaces and design an
exhibition floor plan, Coordinate all
service requests before the
conference and on-site besides
erection of stands & hangars.
 Clearances & Industry liaison –
Procedural clearances from nodal
ministries and from respective
agencies can be obtained to facilitate
visa processing for visiting delegates
with ease. Line out a detailed
sponsorship concept, develop
individual sponsorship packages,

Management – The complete
requirement of audio/visual, signages,
temporary manpower, office

documentation, secretarial services,
translation & interpretation services,

execution of cultural events & theme
set up for official social activities

4. Behind the scenes…
Harish Chopra, Chairman & Managing Director
A vivid learner, he has spent his entire working life in tourism industry. He started his career in the year 1967
with country's largest DMC, now part of Thomas Cook India and grew from the rank of an executive trainee to a
higher managerial post with experience of operational, financial, marketing & Corporate Affairs during the long
stint of nearly three decades, before he took a decision to tread on his own path in the year 1994. The thought
brewing for years to offer the unique India experience to visiting travelers finally took shape in the year 1996
with the formation of Travel Pals (India) Private Limited.
Amit Chopra, Associate Director, leisure & incentive tours
Tourism graduate from Delhi University, he has !ND!A in his blood. His charming personality glorifies whenever
he is given an opportunity to share the facts & culture of his country. He willingly involves himself in each and
every tour itinerary and client's tour to offer his best and to create an amazingly memorable experience for our
guests visiting India. It is not surprising that majority of our clients have become his good friends post their tour
with the Company. It is his personal attention to their tour that makes him an exceptional asset to the
Company.
Mohit Chopra, Director MICE & Special events
A Chartered Accountant by profession, he had his first tryst with tourism in the year 1996 while pursuing his
studies, he started working part time, learning on the job from greeting clients at the airport, escorting the
groups to handling of the tour files planning and executing the operations of the tour. He has the credit of
successfully coordinating the complete transportation of 1200+ delegates from 120 countries staying at more
than 15 hotels across Delhi attending the major International Conference handled by the Company in the year
1998. Having played with numbers and successfully completing Chartered Accountancy and having practiced
international taxation, he returned to his passion and joined back the family business full time in the year 2007.
Since then he has been actively involved in organizing international conferences and special events in India. His
eye for detail with his professional working helps him plan & execute international events with precision.
