Themes
   John and Andrea is a couple who loves and cares for each
    other.
   When John is disturbed after meeting his
    doppelganger, Andrea tries to be understanding and
    supportive for him.
   She accompanies him to the Thirteenth District twice to
    look for the doppelganger.
   When their marriage starts to show signs of strain, John
    makes more effort to pay more attention to his family.
   This shows that he stills cares for his wife.

   John Taylor badly wants to know the messages that the
        doppelganger has for him.
       He becomes obsessed and begins a frantic search for an
        answer to his puzzling encounter.
       He talks to the housekeepers of number 7 Felka utca.
       However, they have never seen anyone who looks like
        him there before.
       He starts to doing some research on life after death.
       He gets to know about doppelganger.
       He cannot forget the incident and the date he comes
        across the doppelganger, which is 18 January.

   The mystery is unraveled when he digs into old
        newspaper at the library dating back to the 1940’s.
       He learns that a young mother and her children were
        killed in a cellar destroyed by a bomb in Gergely utca.
       He meets Mrs. Kovacs and the Szabo family.
       Mrs. Fischer reveals the whole story to him.
       Finally, he learns the truth from her.





   John Taylor’s encounter with his doppelganger has taken a
    toll on his family.
   Andrea is quite affected and after some time, she becomes
    tired of John’s obsession in finding the truth about the
    doppelganger.
   Their relationship becomes strained.
   However, both John and Andrea do not give up.
   When they go on a holiday in England, their relationship
    improves.
   If there is no tolerance between then, the marriage would
    have fallen apart.

   John Taylor and his wife Andrea face problems when
        John stumbles upon his doppelganger.
       Doppelganger is messenger of danger and advice.
       John is determined to look for ‘him’ hoping that he
        could learn the truth.
       From the days onwards, John has to cope with the
        anxiety of finding the truth.
       Unfortunately, he neglects his wife, Andrea and child
        , Kati.
       This brings strain upon their relationship.

   Finally, he shares his problems and anxieties with
        Andrea.
       He feels his burden is lightened after opening up to his
        wife.
       Andrea proposes for them to go to number 7 Felka utca
        to find the answers.
       He also meets his old friend, Paul Harris and shares his
        encounter with the doppelganger.
       Paul provides him with the doppelganger and gives him
        support.
       John feels happier.


