This is a good presentation if you’re wondering how to get to plenty of academic journal articles fast or want to do a big literature search in the fastest possible time. I combine Google Advance search with a filter for .pdf files alongside a multi downloader. You can effectively download hundreds of relevant articles in a few seconds. These can then be searched for key words. Great for constructing your own repository of research. You can use the same technique for building up a library of presentations. – Dr Simon Bignell

1. Advanced Search
• This can be a very good way of finding
published research articles and books.
• It can often be quicker than many online
databases but you shouldn’t neglect to
use these too.
• Caution! Not all research articles will be
available by using this method.
