Babar Ali is a 16-year-old student from West Bengal, India who serves as both a student and the headmaster at a school. He teaches hundreds of poor children in his family's backyard, providing an education to those who cannot afford it. Babar began teaching at age 9, instructing 8 students in all subjects. He wakes up early each morning to do chores before taking public transportation to the school he attends and then returns in the afternoon to teach additional classes in his backyard.

He’s a teenager who is in
charge of teaching hundreds of
students in his family’s backyard,
where he runs classes for poor
children from his village.
The story of this young man
from Murshidabad in West Bengal,
India is that at nine years old he
became a teacher of all subjects and
he taught eight students.

4. What does he do in the morning?
Babar wakes up every morning at 7 and starts his day by doing
some housework. Then he takes an auto rickshaw first and later
walks ten kilometres to the “Cossimbazar Raj Govinda Sundari
Vidyapeeth” where he is a class .

5. What does he do in the afternoon
In the afternoon, he has classes and in the end he
is classes in family’s backyard a hundreds and hundres of
children poor and they don’t have money.

6. Education
Babar is the thin and
gangly boy who sits in the
middle of the front row.
Studious, smart and austere in
his blue and white uniform,
Babar is a model student. He is
also the first member of his
family to get a proper
education.
