Aguascalientes may be over 400 years old, but the city is also a hub of high-tech manufacturing. However, the recent commercial success didn’t extend to all the city’s residents, nearly two-thirds of whom didn’t even have Internet access. The Mayor closed this tech gap by working together with partner Compax to build community centers where residents can access computers and the Internet and take classes using programs such as Microsoft Windows 8.1.
