Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning & Business Analytics
Department: Performance Analysis

Summary: Enables the generation of high impact analyses, creating actionable insights that lead to improved decision
making and financial performance as well as achieved ROI of programs and key initiatives. This person has a high level of
intellectual curiosity and the ability to methodically analyze data and clearly summarize findings in a brief but
meaningful manner. Forward thinking as to anticipate future opportunities and/or challenges that are likely to impact the
business and provide recommendations based on modeling / analytics to assist management in identifying the optimal
decision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Conducts complex analyses to improve financial and operation effectiveness of SRI. The forum for
communications of the key findings and recommendation of such will be the monthly SRI Business Review. Refer to
the framework of the monthly review for detailed information. The framework is designed to support improvements
in the financial and operations effectiveness of SRI so it will evolve based on business needs.
Manage process of valuing various acquisition and joint venture opportunities. Ensures proposed structure is
aligned with going concern market valuations and that financial modeling of potential opportunities yields an
acceptable return on all deployed capital over the investments anticipated life.
Conduct Return on Investment analysis of proposed CAPEX projects. Apply various capital budgeting techniques
to determine the most appropriate allocation of capital across various capital expenditures with various useful lives.
Manages the annual budgeting process for, and prepares, the System Sales budget and Royalty budget. Work
closely with Management to align on sales drivers and assumptions, anticipate store closures and new store
openings. Creates the budget template and aggregations sales budgets at the various levels.
Manages the annual budgeting process for and prepares the SRI Sales budget. Work closely with the CFO, SRI
President and SRI finance team to development and incorporate drivers and assumptions.
Assist with optimization of Real Estate holdings and Lease Portfolio on corporate owned drive-ins. Analyze
closure and rebuild opportunities with emphasis on cash flow implications, minimizing write-downs, margin and
AUV enhancement and reshaping trade areas for long-term health.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Prefer degree in an analytical major (e.g. Finance,
Accounting or Economics); MBA Preferred; 5 to 7 years’ experience in Business Finance and/or Analytical position required
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal docu ments.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community.
Math Ability:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of modern algebra. Must also have a proficient understanding of cash flow
analysis and various capital budgeting decision making techniques.
