Engineering has always been a major strength of the company. The engineering disciplines provided by Roeslein are
mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls and structural. Roeslein has professional engineers on its staff that
are registered in many states throughout the U.S. and has also developed strategic alliances with outside engineering
firms and contract engineers to provide even more breadth of service.
Roeslein’s concept-to-completion philosophy means that its engineers and design documents are generated with
construction, plant operations and maintenance in mind. Roeslein Engineers typically follow the project through
construction bidding to the actual construction and start-up, minimizing conflict that traditionally exists between
engineering and construction contractors.

Located in Red Bud, Illinois, USA, Roeslein Modular Fabrication is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Roeslein & Associates, Inc. Our 17-acre, nearly
400,000 sq. ft. facility boasts segregated shop areas for each step of the
manufacturing process, ensuring the best-quality finished product for
our customers. Our highly qualified team of engineers, technicians, and
craftsmen trained in our unique unitized and preassembled construction
approach takes pride in its proven record of delivering and implementing
quality project solutions for our customers all over the world.
Shanghai, China
Roeslein demonstrates continued commitment to our Asian and
Pacific Rim customers by providing state-of-the-art engineering and
manufacturing resources. Our operation is comprised of a brand-new,
33,000 sq. ft. main facility and an assembly shop with up to 75,000 sq. ft.
of capacity located just 35 miles from Shanghai’s Pudong International
Airport. Roeslein Shanghai offers a fully staffed engineering office
and the same manufacturing capabilities and unitized/preassembly
construction approach currently performed at our US subsidiary, Roeslein
Manufacturing. Our dedicated staff is augmented with resources from
our US and European UK offices. This ensures the same level of quality
control and operational standards, which have made Roeslein a proven
leader in implementing projects globally.
MODULAR
FABRICATION
Steel Fabrication is accomplished
through the strict adherence to American
Welding Society (AWS) Structural Welding
Code D1.1. Our welders operate advanced
equipment, employing the latest welding
techniques and safety practices. In order to
ensure our proprietary unit sections are 100%
accurate, they are assembled in a computer-
designed jig to specification.
Pipe Fabrication will always meet or
exceed our customers’ expectations through
continual in-house training and in-house
Certified Welding Instructor classes. We
follow the ASME Section IX requirements in
our segregated stainless and carbon shops,
our Welding Program incorporates Welding
Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure
Qualification Records, (PQR) and Welder
Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
Paint systems adhere to each customer’s
required specification. Keeping abreast of
the latest technologies, we incorporate the
use of a high-temperature, high-pressure,
environmentally safe chemical spray system
to prepare our “clean” steel for our paint
application systems. We also have the
in-house capability to meet any of the Steel
Structures Painting Council’s (SSPC) surface
preparation requirements.
Electrical work encompasses all needs
associated within the electrical field.
Your preassembled process systems will
incorporate power/control cabling and/or
wiring run in conduit, cable, or ladder tray with
the complete integration of power panels,
control cabinets, lighting, and operator control
stations. We have the capability to not only
provide system testing and checkout, but also
to optimize line control programming.
Modularization has many proven
advantages: reduction of on-site construction
time and personnel; reduced labor costs;
fabrication in a controlled environment;
increased safety, quality, and efficiency;
simultaneous and parallel project scheduling;
as well as many other benefits leading up to
reduced overall project costs. Unitizing is our
unique and proprietary concept of utilizing
structural, free-standing, prefabricated and
painted or galvanized unit sections to provide
low-cost, common mounting structures for
comprehensive mechanical and electrical
systems as well as equipment and access
walkways with handrails.
Preassembled Systems combine the
advantages of modularization and unitizing by
integrating the completed process modules,
unit sections, and interconnecting pipe
spools, plus electrical and support systems
into their finished form at our facility. We
then test and/or run the completed systems,
and then after passing our quality control
measures, we partially disassemble them into
large piece-marked and bar-coded sections
to be transported via truck, rail, barge, and/or
overseas container to the final installation site.

Roeslein & Associates has managed and self-performed the installation and construction of our designed systems
all across the globe for nearly a decade. We have completed Greenfield facilities, plant expansions, and process
line additions in more than 50 countries. Our integrated process solutions offer maximum control over safety, cost,
schedule, and quality-related issues.
We deploy skilled fabrication and construction professionals from our modular fabrication facility, Roeslein Modular
Fabrication (RMF) - Red Bud, Illinois, and from Roeslein Asia - Shanghai, China to give us the flexibility to assemble
the right combination of resources for every project. The same craftsmen who fabricate our modular systems at RMF or
Roeslein Asia follow the product to the field to perform the final installation. This methodology allows us to deliver the
highest-quality product on schedule and within budget.
When needed, Roeslein augments our in-house resources with additional subcontractor partners. During our 25
years of construction experience we have developed a database of highly skilled craftsmen. These trusted partners
encompass all areas of civil, mechanical, structural steel, and electrical construction. They become part of our project
team as necessary and expand our capabilities.

3D PLANT SCANNING
TECHNOLOGY
With the ever-changing climate of the engineering industry, Roeslein & Associates stays ahead of the curve by offering
customers the ability to gain an accurate digital representation of their project on a large or small scale. Our team of
trained engineers uses FARO Laser Scanner Focus technology to provide 3D documentation of an entire plant or a
single skid, with a point cloud data output that is viewable on a variety of software platforms and has the ability to output
quick and accurate 3D digital color images.

Roeslein has professional engineers on its staff that are registered in many states throughout the U.S. and has also developed strategic alliances with outside engineering firms and contract engineers to provide even more breadth of service. Roeslein’s concept-to-completion philosophy means that its engineers and design documents are generated with construction, plant operations and maintenance in mind. Roeslein Engineers typically follow the project through construction bidding to the actual construction and start-up, minimizing conflict that traditionally exists between engineering and construction contractors.

Our 17-acre, nearly 400,000 sq. ft. facility boasts segregated shop areas for each step of the manufacturing process, ensuring the best-quality finished product for our customers. Our highly qualified team of engineers, technicians, and craftsmen trained in our unique unitized and preassembled construction approach takes pride in its proven record of delivering and implementing quality project solutions for our customers all over the world. Shanghai, China Roeslein demonstrates continued commitment to our Asian and Pacific Rim customers by providing state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing resources. Our operation is comprised of a brand-new, 33,000 sq. ft. main facility and an assembly shop with up to 75,000 sq. ft. of capacity located just 35 miles from Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport. Roeslein Shanghai offers a fully staffed engineering office and the same manufacturing capabilities and unitized/preassembly construction approach currently performed at our US subsidiary, Roeslein Manufacturing. Our dedicated staff is augmented with resources from our US and European UK offices. This ensures the same level of quality control and operational standards, which have made Roeslein a proven leader in implementing projects globally. MODULAR FABRICATION Steel Fabrication is accomplished through the strict adherence to American Welding Society (AWS) Structural Welding Code D1.1. Our welders operate advanced equipment, employing the latest welding techniques and safety practices. In order to ensure our proprietary unit sections are 100% accurate, they are assembled in a computer- designed jig to specification. Pipe Fabrication will always meet or exceed our customers’ expectations through continual in-house training and in-house Certified Welding Instructor classes. We follow the ASME Section IX requirements in our segregated stainless and carbon shops, our Welding Program incorporates Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records, (PQR) and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ). Paint systems adhere to each customer’s required specification. Keeping abreast of the latest technologies, we incorporate the use of a high-temperature, high-pressure, environmentally safe chemical spray system to prepare our “clean” steel for our paint application systems. We also have the in-house capability to meet any of the Steel Structures Painting Council’s (SSPC) surface preparation requirements. Electrical work encompasses all needs associated within the electrical field. Your preassembled process systems will incorporate power/control cabling and/or wiring run in conduit, cable, or ladder tray with the complete integration of power panels, control cabinets, lighting, and operator control stations. We have the capability to not only provide system testing and checkout, but also to optimize line control programming. Modularization has many proven advantages: reduction of on-site construction time and personnel; reduced labor costs; fabrication in a controlled environment; increased safety, quality, and efficiency; simultaneous and parallel project scheduling; as well as many other benefits leading up to reduced overall project costs. Unitizing is our unique and proprietary concept of utilizing structural, free-standing, prefabricated and painted or galvanized unit sections to provide low-cost, common mounting structures for comprehensive mechanical and electrical systems as well as equipment and access walkways with handrails. Preassembled Systems combine the advantages of modularization and unitizing by integrating the completed process modules, unit sections, and interconnecting pipe spools, plus electrical and support systems into their finished form at our facility. We then test and/or run the completed systems, and then after passing our quality control measures, we partially disassemble them into large piece-marked and bar-coded sections to be transported via truck, rail, barge, and/or overseas container to the final installation site. Roeslein Modular Fabrication in Red Bud, IL features 375,000 sqft of fabrication space situated on 17 acres.

Power Plant CO2 Post Carbon Capture Pilot Plant 7 Modules; 14’x35’x14’; 2014 ROESLEIN CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION Roeslein & Associates has managed and self-performed the installation and construction of our designed systems all across the globe for nearly a decade. We have completed Greenfield facilities, plant expansions, and process line additions in more than 50 countries. Our integrated process solutions offer maximum control over safety, cost, schedule, and quality-related issues. We deploy skilled fabrication and construction professionals from our modular fabrication facility, Roeslein Modular Fabrication (RMF) - Red Bud, Illinois, and from Roeslein Asia - Shanghai, China to give us the flexibility to assemble the right combination of resources for every project. The same craftsmen who fabricate our modular systems at RMF or Roeslein Asia follow the product to the field to perform the final installation. This methodology allows us to deliver the highest-quality product on schedule and within budget. When needed, Roeslein augments our in-house resources with additional subcontractor partners. During our 25 years of construction experience we have developed a database of highly skilled craftsmen.   • 7. 3D PLANT SCANNING TECHNOLOGY With the ever-changing climate of the engineering industry, Roeslein & Associates stays ahead of the curve by offering customers the ability to gain an accurate digital representation of their project on a large or small scale.
