How can you help?
The cost to renovate THE LOFT is estimated at
$120,000. My personal commitment is to fund the
renovation as fully as I am personably able with your
help. Please join me in making this dream a reality
by contributing whatever you can to help fund the
renovation. Your donation will help make it
possible for THE LOFT to be completed and for the
Hobble Inn to begin welcoming our deserving
Veterans and Servicemen and women by the Spring
of 2017.
Why Veterans? Why you?
Why THE LOFT?
It is no secret that many of our
veterans struggle with health,
financial and other issues. The
evidence of that is amply docu-
mented. While THE LOFT will not
resolve all of their needs, what we
can offer is renewal, a fresh start,
a much needed vacation, or a
chance to rekindle relationships. These men and
women have sacrificed so much for our Country's
benefit. As the daughter, widow, mother and good
friend of Service men and women, I believe that I
can offer a unique opportunity through this gift of
a stay at THE LOFT at HOBBLE INN in the beautiful
resort town of Stowe, VT.
On behalf of my late father, father-in-law, and
husband; as well as my eldest son and all the
Veterans and Active Duty Servicemen and women,
who deserve our respect, appreciation and support;
thank you for considering my request and thank
you in advance for your kind generosity.

THE STORY OF THE LOFT
at Hobble Inn
There are nearly 22 million living veterans in the
United States today. More than five million have
served since 9/11 alone. Many come home to face
challenges from traumatic stress, unmet goals for
education, increasing healthcare needs, and other
issues. Our veterans deal with healthcare, housing
and employment needs that are unique to them.
It is my wish to give back to our servicemen and
women - veterans, reservists, and active duty
military - in a way that restores peace of mind and
well being. I want to express how much all are
cared about and how truly respected and
appreciated everyone is for their service to our
country.
The Hobble Inn is a 150 year old historic B&B in
the charming resort village of Stowe, VT. THE LOFT
will be a beautiful, comfortably furnished and
equipped one bedroom condominium with a
private entry. It will involve a complete
renovation of the Inn's garage loft space.
When completed, THE LOFT will be available to
Active Duty, Reservist, Retired and Veteran
Servicemen and women as a place for up to a one
week visit for needed respite and relaxation
- at NO cost to them.
