Tea
David Villa Blanco
The history of tea
Tea was created by accident, because
someone poured boiling water on a type of
grass and liked it. People preparing recipes
for their descendants also prepare tea. Then
he was brought to Japan and Korea. Then,
some Portuguese sailors went to China and
tested…
The history of tea 2
…tea, although they were not who brought it
to Europe, they were the Dutch. But the
queen of England was who had the honour.
Now it is the most important beverage
worldwide. And then, of course, that the
British went to India and planted it there
since before India belonged to England.
How to make a cup of tea
First, fill the kettle with water. Then, boil
the water. Then, fill the teapot with boiling
water. Next, warm the teapot. Then, put
some tea into the teapot. Then, leave for a
few minutes. Next, pour the tea into the cup.
Finally, pour the milk into the cup.
Types of teas
There are different types of teas:
Darjeeling, Assam, English Breakfast, Earl
Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Gunpowder,
Yellow, White, Sencha peppermint,
Chamomile, Rooibos, Echinacea, Rosehip ,
Nettle...
Sandwiches
There are different types of sandwiches but
I’m just going to put two:
Cucumber sandwich
Egg Mayonnaise sandwich
Recipe of the cucumber sandwich
1 Place cucumber slices between 2 paper towels set in a colander. Allow liquid to drain,
about 10 minutes.
2 Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, in a bowl until smooth.
3 Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each bread slice.
4 Divide cucumber slices over half of bread slices; sprinkle lemon pepper on cucumber.
5 Place the other half of a bread slices with spread sides down over the cucumber slices to
make sandwiches.
6 Cut crusts from each sandwich and then cut into quarters.
Ingredient. 1 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced, 1 package cream cheese, softened, ¼ cup
mayonnaise, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 loaf sliced bread, 1 pinch
lemon/pepper (opcional).
Equipment: Bowl, knife, spoon and a colander.
Recipe of the egg mayonnaise sandwich
1 Place your egg carefully in a saucepan and cover it with 2 cm of cold water.
2 Heat the water until it is starting to boil.
3 Take the pan off the heat, place a lid on the pan and leave the egg to stand in the hot water for approximately
9 minutes for a small egg and 12 minutes for a large egg.
4 Drain the water from the pan and run the egg under cold water.
5 Gently tap the bottom of the egg to crack the shell and then rub the egg between your hand to loosen it. Start
peeling the shell off from the bottom
6 When all the shell is removed, place the egg in a bowl with the mayonnaise and gently mash with a fork.
7 Butter the bread.
8 Spread the egg mayonnaise mixture evenly over one of the slices of bread.
9 Sprinkle some cress over the egg mayonnaise and place the other slice of bread on top.
10 Enjoy your sandwich.
Ingredients: 2 slices of wholemeal bread, butter or margarine spread, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and
some watercress
Equipment: bowl, spoon, knife and a fork saucepan
