HVAC system adequacy
Exploit the range for temperature and humidity control for Room set-points
After evaluating 2011 external temperature and humidity, it was found that at several times the fresh air
was ideally to be used without treatment. But since the set point was fixed, the system still tried to seek for
the ideal set point (23 ° C and 50% RH)
The set point was changed to an operating range allowing the fresh air to be used untreated when in
appropriate conditions.
Room conditions:
Before
Temperature: fixed 23ºC
Humidity: fixed 50% rh
After
Temperature: ranged 18 °C – 25 °C
Humidity: ranged 30% rh – 70% rh
