About us
Biowatch is a Swiss start-up that has developed
the first wrist vein scanner as a new method of
biometricrecognition.Integratedinanindependent
wearable module that can be added to any watch
or bracelet, Biowatch becomes a new means of
authentication that replaces passwords, keys
cards or PIN codes enabling users to secure their
digital and physical world.
The company was founded in 2015 by Joe Rice
and Matthias Vanoni. The head office is in Martigny,
Switzerland. Together, Joe and Matthias have over
40 years of experience in the field of biometrics.
