INTRODUCTION
 The present perfect tense is a rather
important tense in English, but it gives
speakers of some languages a difficult
time. That is because it uses concepts or
ideas that do not exist in those languages.
In fact, the structure of the present
perfect tense is very simple. The problems
come with the use of the tense. In
addition, there are some differences in
    usage between British and American
    English. 4

WHAT IS THE PRESENT PERFECT ?

 We use the present perfect to describe
an action that happened just before now.
 You can not use the present perfect to
say things like: Yesterday, One year
ago, When I lived in Japan, that
  day, One day, etc.

                                                                      5

DEFINITION

 An aspect of the verb expressing an action
that began in the past and which has been
completed or continues into the present. The
present perfect is formed by combining has

                                                                           6
