Introduction of Present continuous
    Tense
8
.(a) If it is a situation and not am not am
activity, we use the progressive tense.

 He is sitting in the last row.

(b) If the progressive form is used to express the
act of perceiving, it indicates something that is
continuous over a much longer period.

I am seeing much better since my operation.
                                                  vaghela_manisha13@yahoo.c

                                                  om
CON…….
(c) The use of progressive form of the present tense is
9

usual, not the simple form, in the passive voice when it
     refers to the future.

 The case is being discussed at the next board
    meeting.

(d) When the interrogative form is used the
Continuous form is to be used.
